The Challenge


Compgun is a B2B web-based sales commission management platform that empowers plan administrators to set up and reconfigure incentive plans. 

The tool makes it easy to manage, reconcile, distribute, and communicate with sales reps. 

Managing sales commissions is a complicated and cumbersome process. Compgun simplifies and streamlines the process but the founders requested a user-centered approach to be applied to their product. Onboarding is currently a high touch, one on one process, a problem for scalability.

With design partner Sylvina Tang, we conducted a comprehensive application audit of all flows, identifying confusing aspects, inconsistencies, divergent components. We are currently in the process of conducting user research and designing the onboarding flow.
